Mr. and Mrs Dale Ketola

Jamie and Dale……….A little story behind this beautiful  Love Story!

Well for starters there was a surprise horse and carriage entrance that not even the bride was expecting up through the back of the golf course.  Jamie is from NJ and Dale is from SC so they wanted to bring a little of the north and south to their wedding as a blending of families. It was held underneath a big old oak tree with chandeliers hanging and rose petals up the aisle outside on a golf course.  The bridal party entrance song was “August” the melody to the Masters golf tournament. Fitting for the couple since he is a golf instructor.  Jamie’s first boss and friend of 13 years Shan Coughlin married them.  The bride wore Justin Alexander ball gown with a Pnina Tornai Cathedral Veil .  It was truly that southern and northern elegance with the bridesmaids in navy luxe chiffon all different styles and groomsman in navy suits and kelly green bowties. Colors were white and navy with pops of green for a sophisticated preppy look.  Dinner was a relaxed three course meal with a true low country she crab soup, a crisp spinach salad and then surf and turf (filet mignon and Mahi mahi).  Cake was their favorite Red Velvet with chocolate ganache.  At night the ceremony location turned into a cigar bar with the chandeliers and candles lighting up the area.  Music was mix of rock and country. Both their careers were subtle but noticed.  The seat assignments were golf balls & tees sitting in home grown wheat grass in cigar boxes.  Favors were Dominican coffee filled burlap sacks with “love has brewed” a nod to the coffee influence in the cigar industry.  Centerpieces were simple with vases filled with fresh limes and topped with white hydrangeas.  A modern twist was a white ornate chalkboard that posted the attendants to the wedding!
